Department of Education Uniform Policy
Recently the Department of Education announced a new uniform policy for schools. For Vincentia Public School this was a timely announcement. Recently, the ability to source the checked fabric used for girls culottes and the summer dress has become increasingly difficult, this has added to the limited availability of the item and to the cost. The new policy says all students should have the opportunity to access the full range of school activities while wearing a school uniform, including physical activities, and girls must have the option to wear shorts and pants. As a result we will be phasing in a girls short option in a bottle green colour.
