Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school event may include:

Harmony Day

Date: Friday, 20th March

Students are asked to wear something ORANGE or traditional dress (covered shoulders and enclosed shoes) representing diverse cultures.

K-2 Colour Fun Run

Date: Wednesday, 25th March

K-2 will participate in the Colour Fun Run within the school grounds. At the end of the fun run, students will be sprayed with coloured powder.All students will need to bring a white t-shirt to change into before they run.

8 - 13 yrs Cross Country and Colour Run

Date: Wednesday, 25th March

Time: 10:30 am

The Primary Cross Country will be held at VPS after the K-2 Fun Run. Students run a course around the school. At the end of the Cross Country students will be sprayed with coloured powder.

Parents/Carers can encourage their child/ren from the basketball court area. Please bring a chair. Four Feet Espresso will be joining us for adults only to purchase a hot beverage.

Stage 2 AFL Gala Day

Date: Friday, 27th March

Stage 2 will be participating in the Yrs 3 & 4 AFL Superkick Gala Day at the Leisure Centre Oval, Vincentia. The Auskick Gala Day is a introduction to AFL, with modified rules games where participation and fun are key and no scores are kept.

K-2 Easter Hat Parade

Date: Thursday, 2nd April

Time: 9:00 am

Come along to our annual Easter Hat Parade and see the wonderful Easter hat creations your K-2 children have made at school. A coffee van will be available on the day for adults only.
